Lobbying and representation is a major role of the Chamber.
North Kent Chamber of Commerce is able to represent members' interests at local, regional and national levels.
Working closely with local key employers, it has voiced its opinions on many topical issues. In addition the Chamber is represented on a number of committees including Local Strategic Partnership, Kent Gateway Board, and the South East Chamber Board, which has a direct line into regional government offices.
Nationally, the British Chambers of Commerce is one of the most powerful lobbying voices influencing the policies of the government, the Bank of England and other major bodies. If your business has a problem, let us know. Only through hearing our members' issues can we do something about them.
